The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah participated in a table tennis tournament organized by the university's Student Activities Department. This participation was in preparation for the Ministry of Education's sports activities program, which uses a doubles knockout format.
The College of Veterinary Medicine team won their first-round match against the College of Marine Sciences, followed by another victory against the College of Education for Pure Sciences. They then lost to the College of Pharmacy in the semi-finals.
The team will continue their competition in Group B on the following day of the tournament, which is being held at the Karma Ali site.
