Minister of Higher Education Honors University of Basrah for Advancing Health Systems
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah in recognition of its scientific and research achievements, awarding it two national prizes in the fields of patents and scientific journals.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Mufeed Turki Rasheed, stated that the college received the Patent and Intellectual Property Award for its research entitled “Design and Construction of a Flow Measurement Device for Mechanical Ventilation Systems During the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
Additionally, the college was awarded the Distinguished Scientific Journal Prize for its Iraqi Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, in recognition of the high quality of its published research, its solid scientific standards, and its contribution to advancing scientific research and disseminating specialized academic knowledge.
