University of Basrah Holds Seminar on Racial Discrimination and Its Impact on Mental Health
The Central Library Secretariat at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the National Youth Council and the Iraqi Bar Association in Basrah, organized a seminar titled “Racial Discrimination and Its Impact on Mental Health.”
The seminar aimed to raise awareness and promote efforts to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination faced by members of society.
The event, presented by lawyer Ahmed Riyadh Al-Dulaimi, discussed international conventions related to racial discrimination, relevant articles in the Iraqi Penal Code, as well as the various forms of discrimination and their psychological effects on individuals.
