University of Basrah Holds Symposium on Administrative and Academic Work Ethics
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah organized a symposium titled “Ethics of Administrative and Academic Work from the Perspective of Law, Islamic Sharia, and Administrative Judiciary.”
The symposium aimed to promote a culture of professional ethics and reinforce the values of respect for diversity — intellectual and religious — in all its forms, in line with the principles of justice and equality within the university community.
The event featured a lecture delivered by Dr. Sanaa Abdul Latif Khudair, who discussed the roles of both students and university professors in building an educational environment grounded in ethical values and moral principles. She emphasized that an aware student is one who draws upon knowledge and culture to embody upright behavior, while the university professor bears a significant ethical and social responsibility through their educational influence and their role in fostering mutual trust within the academic institution.
