University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Quality in Education for Humanities Specializations
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on Quality in Education—Unit Seven for Humanities Specializations—within the framework of the fifth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to enhance trainees’ understanding of the concept of total quality in education, the principles and standards on which it is based, and to emphasize the importance of applying these principles in teaching to achieve educational objectives.
Delivered by Dr. Samer Talib Dawood, the lecture covered several key topics, including the concept of quality, the goals of quality in education, and the standards that ensure educational excellence.
The session concluded with recommendations highlighting the importance of familiarizing trainees across both scientific and humanities disciplines with the principles of total quality management in education and in various aspects of life, adopting it as a sustainable approach and a way of life that cannot be overlooked.
