University of Basrah Visits Elderly Care Home and the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities
A group of students from the College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a humanitarian visit to the Elderly Care Home and the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs, as part of the college’s student activities.
The visit aimed to foster a spirit of human connection and instill values of social solidarity among the students.
During the visit, students presented symbolic gifts and engaged in conversations with the elderly residents, expressing their respect and appreciation for this segment of society that deserves care and attention.
Lecturer Zainab Abdul Karim emphasized that the visit seeks to strengthen the humanitarian aspect among students and link academic knowledge with social responsibility.
