The College of Veterinary Medicine Receives a Delegation from the College of Agriculture
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah received a group of faculty members and students from the College of Agriculture in a scientific visit aimed at strengthening academic collaboration between the two colleges within the framework of implementing the Bologna Process.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Central Research Unit and was briefed on the various tests and analyses conducted for postgraduate studies, as well as the advanced and modern equipment available at the unit.
Dr. Alia Sabti provided a detailed explanation of the mechanisms used in genetic material extraction and the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique.
The Dean’s Office of the College of Veterinary Medicine emphasized that this visit comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote scientific cooperation and exchange expertise among colleges, in support of the Bologna Process objectives and the development of the educational environment at the University.
