University of Basrah Holds a Scientific Seminar on Osteoporosis
The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar on osteoporosis, attended by a group of the college’s faculty members and staff.
The seminar included a lecture introducing the disease, identifying individuals at risk, and outlining the physical symptoms associated with osteoporosis. It also discussed diagnostic methods, treatment approaches, preventive measures, and the role of physical exercise and physiotherapy in managing the condition.
The seminar concluded with a recommendation to establish a specialized osteoporosis center dedicated to early detection and comprehensive medical care for affected patients.
