University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Soft Skills and Their Role in University Student Success
The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basrah organized a training workshop titled “Soft Skills and Their Role in University Student Success and the Labor Market”, with the participation of a group of students and faculty members.
The workshop aimed to develop skills in effective communication, teamwork, time management, and coping with academic and life pressures.
The session, presented by Instructor Huda Hazem Nouri, highlighted that possessing soft skills contributes to building a student’s professional personality and succeeding in the labor market, emphasizing that knowledge alone is not sufficient without behavioral and interpersonal skills.
The workshop included practical applications and interactive exercises, which enhanced student participation and engagement.
