Faculty Member at the University of Basrah Participates in the Tenth National Conference on Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources
Dr. Ahmed Jasib Jabbar, a faculty member at the Marine Science Center, University of Basrah, participated in the Tenth National Conference on Environmental Sciences and Natural Resources, organized by the College of Science at the University of Basrah.
His participation included presenting a research paper titled:
“Colour Vibration of Microplastic Ingested by Fishes from Shatt Al-Arab River, Basra, Iraq.”
The study aimed to identify the colors of microplastics ingested along with food by fish inhabiting Shatt Al-Arab River, as well as to examine the types of bait used by local fishermen.
