University of Basrah Participates in the British Royal College Alumni Network Conference in Iraq
The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, Dr. Nofal Ali Al-Mubarak, along with a number of faculty members, participated in the conference and workshop organized by the British Royal College Alumni Network in Iraq, held in Sulaymaniyah.
The workshop focused on academic development in medical colleges, following the model of the Royal College of Physicians in London. The conference included discussions of various medical cases, including complex and rare conditions encountered by doctors in Iraq, which were presented by the participating physicians and reviewed with experts from the Royal College of Physicians in London.
The conference aimed to enhance doctors’ skills in diagnosing and treating medical cases, strengthen collaboration between Iraqi physicians and experts from the Royal College, and explore the possibility of holding similar workshops in Basrah at the beginning of the new year.
