University of Basrah Organizes Seminar on Healthy Food Preparation and Cooking
The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on methods of preparing and cooking food, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Mariam Jawad Abdul Latif and Dr. Iman Hadi, focused on therapeutic healthy nutrition for the target group of third-year students in both morning and evening study programs.
The seminar aimed to raise participants’ awareness of various cooking methods and their effects on the nutritional value of food, emphasizing the pros and cons of each method, thereby helping students choose the healthiest cooking approach.
