University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Lecture on the Potential Therapeutic Role of Phytochemicals Against Alzheimer’s Disease
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture titled “The Potential Therapeutic Role of Phytochemicals Against Alzheimer’s Disease.”
The lecture, presented by Dr. Raed Saad Louti, introduced Alzheimer’s disease, its major contributing factors, and highlighted the potential therapeutic effects of plant-derived chemical compounds.
The event aimed to shed light on the scientific potential of natural substances in preventing chronic neurological disorders, encourage researchers to utilize recent study findings to develop safe and effective treatments, and review up-to-date research supporting the use of these compounds as supplements or alternative therapeutic options within approved medical strategies.
