University of Basrah Organizes Intellectual Seminar on the Role of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her)
The Basrah and Arabian Gulf Studies Center, in collaboration with the Southern Cultural Center, organized an intellectual seminar entitled “The Call of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (PBUH) to Uphold God’s Religion and Follow the Trustworthy.”
The seminar aimed to highlight the role of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra in defending God’s religion and the trustworthy (peace be upon them).
The seminar, delivered by a group of specialists, covered several topics including Lady Fatimah’s (PBUH) unique prophetic personality and her significant role after the Prophet’s (PBUH) passing. It also addressed her birth as a challenge to corrupt beliefs regarding women and as a foundation for a new mindset that recognizes and honors their rightful position. Additionally, the seminar examined excerpts from her al-Fadakiyya sermons, providing analysis of the injustices she faced and emphasizing the status and position of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
