University of Basrah Organizes Training Course on Antibiotics
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a training course titled “Antibiotics: Their Importance and Applications.”
The course aimed to provide postgraduate students with in-depth knowledge of antibiotics from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
The course included lectures delivered by Dr. Alia Sabti Jassim and Dr. Tamadur Mohammed Khreibet, covering the types and classifications of antibiotics and their mechanisms of action against bacteria. It also featured a practical component where students were trained on how to properly conduct antibiotic sensitivity testing in the laboratory.
