University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Using Artificial Intelligence in Mechatronics Systems Development
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the use of artificial intelligence in developing mechatronics systems.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals and applications of artificial intelligence in mechatronics, and to link intelligent technologies to industrial processes within modern industry concepts.
The workshop, presented by Engineer Hussam Al-QatranI, included an explanation of industrial AI and its applications in mechatronics, maintenance, and computer vision for detecting industrial defects. It also aimed to enable students to build machine-learning models and encourage them to develop applied projects in the field of industrial artificial intelligence.
