University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Drilling Practices
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on drilling practices to enhance students’ skills and connect them with the oil industry job market.
The workshop aimed to introduce the most prominent modern technologies used in oil drilling operations.
The workshop featured a lecture delivered by Engineer Haider Kazem, who explained the stages of well preparation, the field challenges encountered by engineers in this sector, and the importance of applying safety and quality standards throughout all phases of work.
