University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Awareness Seminar to Combat Drugs
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the University Psychological Guidance Center, organized a scientific awareness seminar titled “Drugs and Their Impact on University Students”, with the participation of a group of college students.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs, their psychological and health effects, and to highlight preventive methods.
The session, presented by Lecturer Nour Kati’ Abbas, covered the definition of drugs and the effects of addiction on individuals and society, emphasizing the importance of early awareness.
This activity is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to maintain a safe academic environment and promote health awareness.
