University of Basrah Organizes an Awareness Seminar on Traffic Safety
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a specialized awareness seminar on traffic safety.
The seminar aimed to promote traffic awareness and enhance community understanding of accident risks.
Presented by Traffic Colonel Salah Ramadan Al-Asadi, the seminar reviewed essential traffic rules, signs, and signals that ensure smooth movement and the safety of road users. It emphasized the importance of wearing seat belts and using child safety seats, while warning against the dangers of using mobile phones while driving.
The seminar witnessed active participation from faculty members and students, highlighting the important role of academic institutions in fostering a positive and responsible traffic culture within society.
