President of the University of Basrah Inspects Garmat Ali Colleges Complex and Affirms Continuation of Academic and Service Development Plans
The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, conducted an inspection visit to several colleges at the Garmat Ali site to review the condition of buildings and facilities, and to follow up on ongoing service and development projects within the complex.
During his tour of the Colleges of Education for Human Sciences, Science, and Engineering, the University President emphasized the need to enhance the university environment in line with the requirements of modern education and academic quality standards. He stressed the importance of providing a motivating academic atmosphere for students and supporting both academic and research activities.
The visit included an inspection of laboratories and classrooms, as well as reinforcing support for research efforts by ensuring the availability of resources that help improve the performance of students and researchers. Dr. Al-Asadi also followed up on the progress of the educational process and student services through meetings with faculty members, highlighting the importance of activating scientific and cultural programs that develop students’ skills and strengthen the university’s role in serving the community.
