University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on the Iran-Israel War
The College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a workshop titled “The Twelve-Day Iran-Israel War: A Historical Review.”
The workshop aimed to explore the motivations, causes, and outcomes of the war based on historical, economic, and political data.
It included several research papers in which the presenters detailed the events of the war between Iran and Israel, which emerged from escalating mutual provocations and indirect strikes in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. The confrontation later extended to air, sea, and cyber domains, making it the first direct and openly declared conflict between the two parties.
