University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on How to Read Economic Bulletins
The College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a scientific seminar titled “How to Read the Economic Bulletin: Economic Concepts from Reality.”
The seminar aims to enhance participants’ abilities in analyzing economic news, understanding key market indicators that affect daily life, and developing skills in reading data and making knowledge-based decisions.
The seminar, delivered by faculty members Jaafar Ghazi Abdulrazzaq and Mazin Abdulkarim Jassim, included explanations of major economic indicators and methods for assessing the reliability of financial news.
The seminar recommended strengthening economic literacy and increasing the number of specialized workshops.
