University of Basrah Welcomes Al-Yaqdha Private School
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah welcomed students from Al-Yaqdha Private School, accompanied by their teaching staff, as part of an educational visit aimed at enhancing students’ environmental awareness and deepening their understanding of living organisms and their natural habitats.
The students toured the museum’s various halls, where they viewed biological collections and scientific displays, and listened to explanations provided by museum staff about biodiversity, the importance of preserving species and natural environments, and the museum’s role in promoting scientific awareness within the community.
This visit comes as part of the museum’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the connection between academic curricula and practical application, and to broaden students’ knowledge through direct field experience.
