Scientific Study at the University of Basrah Explores a Central Control System for a Hybrid Network
A scientific study conducted by a research team from the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah examined a central control system for a hybrid microgrid composed of photovoltaic cells, wind turbines, and a battery supported by a diesel generator.
The study, which was published in the international journal Energy Conversion and Management: X, aims to develop an energy-storage system for an isolated microgrid to ensure balance between generation and consumption, as well as to regulate the unpredictable behavior of renewable energy resources.
