University of Basrah Holds an Orientation Seminar on “Your Academic Compass”
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized an orientation seminar titled “Your Academic Compass: How Does the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Prepare You for the Job Market?”
The seminar aimed to align the department’s academic track with labor-market needs and keep pace with modern technological developments.
Presented by Dr. Farqad Murtada Al-Musawi, the seminar covered three main themes: clarifying the value of academic courses in developing practical skills; outlining the employment and entrepreneurship opportunities available to graduates; and discussing the future of employment in light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
