University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on English Library Terminology
The Central Library Secretariat at the University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled “English Library Terminology: Towards Effective Professional Communication in the Library Environment.”
The workshop aimed to enable participants to develop clear and precise professional communication skills, contributing to the enhancement of administrative and service performance.
Presented by lecturer Samir Mohammed Jasim, the workshop highlighted the importance of strengthening staff skills in using commonly used English library terms, emphasizing their essential role in improving professional communication within the library environment and with academic institutions.
