University of Basrah Holds a Discussion Session on Financial Digital Transformation
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a discussion session titled “Digital Transformation and Its Impact on Developing Financial and Accounting Systems.”
The session, presented by lecturer Mustafa Ahmed Mohsen, aimed to clarify the concept of digital transformation as a strategic process that enhances efficiency, reduces errors, and increases transparency through reliance on modern technologies.
The session highlighted the importance of digital transformation in accelerating transaction processing, producing real-time reports, automating accounting entries, and strengthening compliance with international standards—contributing to data-driven decision-making and supporting the sustainable development of financial and accounting systems.
