University of Basrah Holds a Lecture on Research Ethics for Medical Specializations
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on Research Ethics (Unit Eight for Medical Specializations) as part of the Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to familiarize trainees with the ethical standards required before, during, and after conducting scientific research, as well as the tools and methodologies used to transform research into a publishable scientific paper. It also sought to introduce participants to scientific journals, their classifications, and the mechanisms of publication.
Presented by Dr. Khadija Sami Madhhi, the lecture covered professional ethics in scientific research, the steps for converting research into a scientific paper, and the use of scientific platforms and websites to search for journals. It also provided guidance on identifying reputable journals and understanding their requirements, along with instructions on how to publish in them.
