University of Basrah Welcomes an Educational Field Trip from Noor Al-Jawadeen Private School
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah welcomed an educational field trip from Noor Al-Jawadeen Private School as part of its program aimed at strengthening the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
The visit sought to introduce students to agricultural sciences and their roles in supporting the economy and the environment, in addition to fostering collaboration between educational institutions.
The tour included visits to the laboratories of the Department of Plant Protection, the Insect Museum, the Medicinal Plants Unit, and the plant shade house to learn about extraction mechanisms. It also featured stops at the cattle and duck barns within the Department of Animal Production.
Dean of the College, Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Al-Shawi, emphasized the importance of such visits in enhancing awareness and encouraging innovation.
