University of Basrah Organizes an Educational Seminar on Positive Thinking for University Students
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized an educational seminar titled “Positive Thinking for University Students.”
The seminar aimed to introduce students to the concepts of positive and negative thinking and the impact each has on academic performance and daily life.
Delivered by Dr. Mohammed Malik Yaseen, the session highlighted the most common patterns of negative thinking and their risks, in addition to explaining the differences between the thought processes of positive and negative individuals.
The lecturer also outlined key steps toward adopting positive thinking, including reassessing beliefs and ideas, taking responsibility, and avoiding the exaggeration of problems. He emphasized the role of positivity in supporting mental well-being and achieving academic success.
