University of Basrah Faculty Member Participates in a Seminar on Human Rights
Dr. Mohammed Mahdi Mohammed Al-Mousawi, a faculty member at the Marine Sciences Center, University of Basrah, participated in a seminar on the rights and duties of university students, held at the College of Education for Pure Sciences.
During the seminar, he delivered a lecture titled “Understanding Human Rights: Principles and Features.”
The lecture aimed to raise awareness of fundamental human rights principles, such as dignity, justice, and equality, and their key characteristics, including universality and indivisibility. It emphasized empowering university students to understand and defend their rights, respect the rights of others, and contribute to building a university community grounded in justice and freedom.
