University of Basrah Continues Implementing Routine Maintenance Projects in Student Housing Complexes
As part of its commitment to providing a supportive and fully equipped residential environment for students, the University of Basrah, through the Department of Student Housing Affairs, continues to carry out a series of routine maintenance projects in the housing complexes to enhance building readiness and improve the quality of services provided.
Current maintenance works include addressing technical malfunctions in water and electricity networks, repairing lighting systems, and rehabilitating service facilities to ensure a safe and well-prepared environment for students throughout the academic year.
The Department of Student Housing Affairs affirmed that these projects are implemented according to an annual work plan based on daily follow-up and continuous assessment of the complexes’ needs, in addition to promptly responding to feedback from students and staff. The department also noted that these efforts are progressing steadily to achieve the highest levels of organization and safety within the housing facilities.
