University of Basrah Holds a Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education
The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on using artificial intelligence tools to create multiple-choice questions and modern examination formats.
The workshop aims to enhance the digital transformation skills of faculty members and support the development of modern assessment methods in line with approved academic standards.
The event included a lecture delivered by Dr. Qutaiba Abdul Kareem Qasim from the college, in which he explained the mechanisms of using AI tools to formulate various types of MCQs, how to employ AI in preparing applied and clinical questions in the pharmaceutical field, and the scientific criteria required to ensure the quality and reliability of AI-generated questions.
