University of Basrah Holds Lecture on the Causes of Suicide
The University Psychological Counseling Center, in cooperation with the Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine, organized a lecture titled “Suicide: Causes and Prevention Methods.”
The lecture aimed to raise students’ awareness about the dangers of circulating the concept of suicide and the underlying factors that contribute to the emergence of this phenomenon.
Presented by specialists from the counseling center, the lecture discussed the motives that may drive individuals toward suicide and highlighted the vital role of the family in reducing this phenomenon within the community.
