University of Basrah Holds a Scientific Seminar on Humane Interaction in Academic and Clinical Environments
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a specialized scientific seminar on the art of humane interaction within academic and clinical settings.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Huda Abdulrahim Ahmed, highlighted general principles of interpersonal conduct, emphasizing the importance of fostering positive communication skills among individuals in daily life and educational institutions. It also addressed how to build healthy friendships based on mutual respect, adopt trust-based communication methods, establish clear boundaries, and encourage positive interactions.
The seminar recommended best practices for dentists when interacting with patients, including enhancing professional communication skills, active listening, and creating a therapeutic environment that provides patients with a sense of trust and reassurance, thereby improving the quality of healthcare services and strengthening human relations between dentists and patients.
