University of Basrah Organizes Dialogue Session to Promote University Identity and Belonging
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah organized a dialogue session titled “The Role of the Cultural Center in Enhancing University Identity and Belonging”, with the participation of students, faculty members, and academic unit officials.
The session aimed to highlight the importance of the Cultural Center’s role in supporting students’ university identity and fostering a sense of belonging through cultural and artistic activities as well as interactive programs.
Moderated by Dr. Nizar Abdul Mohsen Jafar, the session discussed the impact of student initiatives and creative activities in building a cohesive university community that connects students to their institution. It also emphasized the need to develop cultural programs, innovate new methods to engage students, expand partnerships with cultural institutions, and activate media platforms to promote and publicize events.
