University of Basrah Welcomes Visitors from Baghdad
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah received a group of visitors from the capital, Baghdad, as part of a tour aimed at exploring the scientific and cultural landmarks of the province.
The visit aimed to introduce the visitors to the museum’s biodiversity collections, familiarize them with the natural habitats of animals, the taxidermy exhibits, and their display methods, as well as to highlight the scientific efforts undertaken by the museum in the field of environmental awareness.
The visitors toured the specialized halls and listened to explanations provided by the museum staff about the exhibits, the educational objectives of the museum, and its role in preserving the natural heritage.
