The University of Basrah Organizes a Voluntary Campaign for Planting and Landscaping Gardens
In conjunction with the afforestation and landscaping campaign launched by the President of the University of Basrah, and as part of efforts to expand green spaces within the university to create an attractive and sustainable environment, the Marine Science Center organized a voluntary campaign to plant and landscape the center’s gardens.
The campaign aimed to promote and encourage voluntary work, motivate academic staff to participate, and raise awareness of the importance of environmental care and garden maintenance.
The campaign included planting and landscaping the center’s gardens with various types of plants, including rose seedlings, small shrubs, and evergreen trees.
