The University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Enhanced Deep Learning Techniques for Image Captioning
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basrah organized a scientific lecture entitled “Enhanced Deep Learning Techniques for Image Captioning.”
The lecture aimed to focus on intelligent models capable of analyzing and interpreting multimedia data with high accuracy.
It addressed the challenges associated with image labeling and the integration of computer vision and natural language processing techniques to generate accurate descriptive sentences for unlabeled images, thereby enhancing systems’ understanding of image content.
The lecture, delivered by researcher Ghadeer Abdulrasool Mohammed, highlighted the importance of applications in this field in the medical sector and autonomous vehicles, in addition to explaining the mechanism of the proposed model and its key features.
