University of Basrah Holds the Scientific Evaluation Conference of the College of Law
The College of Law at the University of Basrah held its eighth annual scientific evaluation conference to review the college’s academic achievements for the 2024–2025 academic year.
In his opening speech at the conference, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, stated that the university places great importance on holding evaluation conferences across all colleges in order to discuss effective mechanisms for advancing the academic reality of the university, identifying existing obstacles, and developing appropriate solutions to address them.
He further emphasized that the university is steadily moving toward consolidating a culture of quality and providing scientific competencies that align with the needs of the labor market across various scientific and humanitarian fields.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Aqeel Fadhil Dahan, presented in his address a comprehensive statistical overview of the scientific, administrative, and academic activities of the college’s departments for the 2024–2025 academic year.
