The President of the University of Basrah Attends the 17th Annual Evaluation Conference of the College of Administration and Economics
In the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, the College of Administration and Economics held its 17th Annual Evaluation Conference for the academic year (2024–2025), under the slogan: “Quality Assurance is a Testament to Loyalty to the University.” The conference was organized as part of the College’s continuous efforts to advance the academic process and promote a culture of quality within educational institutions.
During his attendance, the University President emphasized the importance of holding evaluation conferences as a vital means of supporting institutional development pathways. He commended the efforts of the College administration and its academic staff in consolidating quality standards and academic accreditation in line with the requirements of higher education.
The conference featured a comprehensive review of the College’s academic journey and scientific achievements. Its sessions included several key themes, notably the scientific axis, which addressed postgraduate programs, scientific research, and the academic activities carried out by the College throughout the academic year.
The conference also discussed the most prominent challenges facing the educational and administrative processes, and presented a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of scientific research and expanding community service, in alignment with the University of Basrah’s strategy to achieve institutional excellence and academic sustainability.
