Master’s Thesis at the University of Basrah Assesses Water Quality of Shatt Al-Arab Canal Using Bioindicators
A master’s thesis at the College of Science, University of Basrah, investigated the water quality of the Shatt Al-Arab Canal using bioindicators to assess water pollution.
The thesis, submitted by student Zahraa Jassim Mohammed, aimed to evaluate the water quality in the Shatt Al-Arab Canal and determine pollution levels through the application of specific environmental indicators.
The study comprised four chapters, in which the student measured various physical and chemical environmental parameters and applied three biological indicators along with two pollution indices.
