University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Thesis and Dissertation Writing Methodology and the Role of Artificial Intelligence
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a scientific workshop entitled “Methodology of Writing Theses and Dissertations and the Role of Artificial Intelligence,” targeting postgraduate students with the aim of enhancing their research skills.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Aqeel Jouni Nasser, who highlighted the importance of employing artificial intelligence technologies in organizing sources and references and supporting research processes. He also emphasized the necessity of adhering to ethical standards in their use to ensure the quality and integrity of academic research.
The workshop addressed the fundamentals of selecting research topics, formulating research problems and hypotheses, and determining appropriate research methodologies. It also covered data analysis and the scientific presentation of results, in addition to reviewing the most common mistakes made by students and the ways to avoid them.
