University of Basrah Holds the Scientific Evaluation Conference of the College of Engineering
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held its annual scientific evaluation conference to review the college’s academic achievements during the 2024–2025 academic year.
In his opening address, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, stated that the University places great emphasis on organizing evaluation conferences across all colleges as a means to discuss effective approaches for advancing the academic environment, identifying challenges, and developing appropriate solutions.
He further emphasized that the University is steadily progressing toward consolidating a culture of quality and providing scientific competencies aligned with the needs of the labor market across various scientific and humanitarian fields.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki Rasheed, presented a comprehensive overview of statistical data related to the scientific, administrative, and academic activities of the college’s departments for the 2024–2025 academic year.
