University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on the Physiological Anatomy of Endocrine Glands
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the physiological anatomy of endocrine glands and their impact on human and animal behavior and health.
The workshop aimed to enhance understanding of the anatomical location and structure of endocrine glands in various animals and humans, as well as their hormonal secretions and their effects on all body organs.
The workshop, delivered by a number of faculty members of the college, included a lecture presenting the anatomy of the glands, their locations, hormonal secretions, and the types of hormones according to their chemical composition.
