University of Basrah Organizes a Training Course on Green Policies
The Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah organized a training course on green policies and smart water management.
The course aimed to ensure a sustainable future for water resources in light of contemporary challenges.
The course, delivered by faculty member Dr. Hassan Khalil, addressed the role of green policies in setting visions, regulatory frameworks, and incentives, while smart water management provides the technological tools to efficiently and intelligently achieve these visions. It emphasized that integrating green policies with smart technologies is not a luxury, but a vital necessity to ensure water and food security and to build resilient communities capable of confronting future challenges.
