University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on the Legal Role in Combating Drugs
The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the legal role in combating drugs.
The workshop aimed to instill a culture of legal awareness and encourage the university environment to adopt preventive practices that contribute to protecting students and society from the risks associated with this phenomenon.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by faculty member Hussein Jassim Shatti, in which he outlined the legal framework on which academic institutions rely to limit the spread of drugs, as well as the role of universities in enhancing students’ legal awareness and the ethical and social responsibilities of academic institutions.
