University of Basrah Continues Regular Maintenance Work in Dormitories
The University of Basrah continues to carry out regular maintenance work in its dormitories as part of its plan to enhance infrastructure and improve the quality of services provided to students, contributing to the development of the university housing environment and the enhancement of student accommodation standards.
The maintenance activities being implemented cover a wide range of technical and engineering procedures, including the rehabilitation of electrical systems, water and sewage networks, addressing emergency faults in internal networks, upgrading lighting systems, and improving services for shared facilities. The work also includes the care of green spaces and general cleanliness within the residential complexes.
The Director of the Dormitories Affairs Department, faculty member Mohammed Emad Kazem, emphasized that these efforts are part of a regular work program aimed at ensuring service sustainability and increasing the readiness of the dormitories through continuous field supervision by technical and engineering teams.
