University of Basrah Holds the First Evaluation Conference for the College of Education for Women
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, and supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Women, Dr. Amal Muhammad Abdul Karim, the college held its first evaluation conference for the academic year 2024–2025, under the theme: “Evaluation as a Tool for Developing the Academic Path.”
In his speech, the University President emphasized that evaluation conferences represent a fundamental pillar in developing academic performance and enhancing the quality of outputs, in addition to their role in promoting the institutional development approach adopted by the University of Basrah across its colleges and departments.
Al-Asadi also stated that the conference aims to review the key achievements and challenges of the academic year, evaluate educational and scientific programs, and present effective recommendations that enhance the level of teaching and scientific research within the college.
The conference witnessed wide participation from the college’s faculty members and staff, who contributed through their interventions and suggestions to enrich the scientific sessions, reinforcing an integrated vision and helping to chart a more efficient future development roadmap.
The conference concluded by emphasizing the continuation of the annual evaluation approach as a strategic path contributing to improving performance quality and raising the level of educational services provided to the college’s students.
