University of Basrah Holds a Seminar on the Art of Interpersonal Communication
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar titled “The Art of Interaction.”
The seminar aims to highlight the use of positive communication skills in dental practice by encouraging dentists to provide care in a humane manner that respects patients’ feelings and strengthens trust between the patient and the practitioner.
Presented by Dr. Fikri Al-Shihabi, the seminar addressed key themes related to human-centered communication, outlining appropriate methods for building social relationships and forming healthy friendships based on mutual respect and effective interaction.
The lecture concluded that adopting such practices significantly contributes to improving the quality of healthcare services, enhancing human relationships within clinical settings, and promoting patient satisfaction while improving their overall experience in dental clinics.
